Those of us that grew up in the 90's- remember this tune? Pretty much a forgotten group, but beautiful mix of Weezer-ish vocals and Pumpkins-ish instrumentation.

A tasty little Queen tune that gets passed by because of their large number of major hits, but definitely worth digging in to.

Some relaxing stuff by a rather hard hitting band. Digging in to some country sounds, very nice,

Some contemporary dreamy surf-pop-rock coming at ya (a lot of adjectives there). Pretty nice. The video is some crazy Levis Denim commercial gone bad.

10/17/12- Bad Books- Forrest Whitaker

Pretty cool pop-rock band worth checking out. They have some Weezer/Fountains of Wayne sounds going on.
 

10/16/12- Nancy Sinatra- These Boots Are Made For Walkin

Just added black cowboy boots to my official choice of footwear. This song came to mind. pretty groovy tune, great video.

One of the best choruses and solos in rock and roll history.

10/3/12- They Might Be Gaints- Birdhouse In Your Soul

I never thought much of this band, but was driving to work yesterday and heard this song on a Serious channel and it immediately stuck with me. Great feel and quirky quality. The singer has a Violent Femmes kinda voice and the keyboards make me think of some Devo tunes. Give it a listen.
